Vesna Sket

Vesna Šket has recently become one of the more prominent artists on the Slovenian coast, and is also visible to the wider Slovenian public. Her work ranges from sea themes to poppy fields....

She is known for her numerous paintings of Slovenian cities (Ljubljana, Škofja Loka, Piran,..) Light, darkness, spontaneous color overflows are the components that make her works convincing. The author knows how to listen to nature, observe it, experience it and transfer its precious moments to the canvas.

She has had numerous exhibitions in Slovenia so far. Abroad, she exhibited in Trieste in 2000, in Gibraltar in 2002, in Tahiti in 2003 and in Gorizia in 2005.
